This is a special-purpose grinding machine designed for grinding the side flat surfaces of workpieces via grinding wheel end face. During grinding, the workpiece is directly placed on the bed table and clamped hydraulically.

The machine features compact structure and excellent performance, with advantages including easy operation, flexible and reliable movement, stable machining accuracy, high rigidity, good thermal stability, low noise and convenient maintenance.

Main Machine Features

The machine bed is designed for workpiece mounting and hydraulic clamping. The worktable is installed on guideways on the other side of the bed for longitudinal travel driven by hydraulic power. A slide assembly mounted on the worktable performs crosswise movement, fixed on HIWIN linear guideways from Taiwan and driven by a servo motor coupled with a ball screw. The wheelhead is fixed on the slide for forward and backward movement, which can be operated by inching rapid traverse or precise feeding controlled by a Manual Pulse Generator (MPG, electronic handwheel). The wheelhead adopts high-precision rolling bearings for stable rotation and superior surface finish of machined workpieces. (The hydraulic system and spindle bearings are purchased from world-famous overseas brand manufacturers.)
